Job Description

aspire cambridge are seeking a Test and FA Engineer on behalf of our client based on the Cambridge Science Park.

Working within the test and failure analysis team carrying out testing of integrated circuits, data analysis and reporting of findings to the design and process teams. Beyond simple testing the Test and FA Engineer will be expected to find ways to improve test procedures and analysis by automating repetitive tasks, designing new tests and building or modifying custom test equipment.

Key tasks:

  • Testing of integrated circuits
  • Report on findings of testing
  • Document test procedures
  • Find ways to improve testing
  • Prototype and develop new tests
  • Identify probable causes of failure and solutions

Qualifications and training:

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent

Start: ASAP
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Hours: M-F Full Time
Salary: £depending on experience
