Aspire Recruitment are recruiting a Full Stack Developer on behalf of our client in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

Start: Immediate
Location: Cambridge, CB4
Hours: Mon to Fri, Full Time
Salary: £50,000 to £85,000

Currently just 8 employees with 1 Tech Lead you’ll have the opportunity to really make an impact working with a digital platform for mental health evaluation. You’ll deliver outstanding products and services to support healthcare professionals.

As a Full Stack Software Developer you’ll be in charge of the platform’s design, development, and deployment, while also designing the product’s technological strategy, finding solutions, sustaining, evolving, and developing the product stack, and keeping track of the required documentation.

About the role

• Responsible with the Tech Lead for the design, development and deployment of the platform
• Work with Tech Lead and head of product for defining the product technology strategy.
• Work with Product team to define and prioritise product stories, resolve issues, and align dependencies
• Responsible for developing, evolving and maintaining the product stack
• Maintain all documentation required

The technology stack

• Our client has an entirely serverless stack deployed on AWS using Appsync, Lambda, S3, Dynamo, Cloudfront, Cognito, and whatever else will be needed on the way
• They use typescript for the front end, back end and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK
• They write in a functional style
• They automate their processes, e.g. use GitHub actions to spin up and tear down a complete test environment each time a branch is created and merged
• They have a single page react UI in-front of a GraphQL API

Desirable skills

• Experience of the full software lifecycle
• A good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Motivated to improve outcomes for patients
