Aspire Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager – Product Improvement on behalf of our client in Newmarket, Suffolk.

Hours: Mon to Fri, Full Time
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000

Our Client:
Our client are a manufacturer of chemical disinfectants for critical infection prevention applications. With 10 offices around the world and counting, their first 25 years have seen rapid growth and a massive impact made within the infection control industry.

The Role of The Project Manager – Product Improvement:
You will be joining the Design and Development team who oversee all new product development, coordinate product changes, and generate commercial product strategy. Working closely with Research and Validation teams. This includes working on multiple little projects that will be on the product side. This means you will have the opportunity to gain insight and experience into a wide range of business functions and learn on the job regarding several fascinating industries and subject matters.

Responsibilities of The Project Manager – Product Improvement:

  • Balancing a range of different projects at one time, which requires quick thinking and multi-tasking skills.
  • Writing high quality copy for a range of audiences, both commercial and technical that will take the form of reports, analytical papers and emails.
  • Provide administrative support for the design and development process.
  • Data processing and analysis as well a post market surveillance
  • Conduct market research within the medical and technological fields and summarise in readable and informative copy.
  • Confidently communicate with all levels of the business, including suppliers, customers and distributors.
  • Host meetings and presentations both in-house and externally to showcased new developments and innovations.

Skills and Experience Required of The Project Manager – Product Improvement:

  • Proven initiative and ability to champion a project (not expected to arrive fully qualified, just willing to get stuck in and learn on the job).
  • Strong creative, analytic and organisational skills.
  • As strong focus on data analysis and spotting trends
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Experience with creating copy and writing high quality papers or reports, which feature technical or complex information.
  • Some knowledge of the medical device industry and the requirements for design control is a definitely plus, but not a must-have.
