Aspire Recruitment are recruiting a Part Time UK Events Coordinator on behalf of our client in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.

Start: Immediate
Location: Newmarket, CB8
Hours: 25 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 Pro Rata

Our Client:
Our client are a surgical decontamination company with a worldwide presence and a market leader across all scientific sectors. They’re looking for a Part Time UK Events Coordinator to join their team. 

Responsibilities of The Part Time UK Events Coordinator:
Working closely with the Head of Marketing UK you are the organisational talent of the team, responsible for every aspect of event planning and coordination. The Part Time UK Events Coordinator infuses qualities such as passion and enthusiasm in their everyday work. They are self-motivated and take pride in their work after delivering an event that all stakeholders enjoyed.

  • Delivering UK events on time and within budget.
  • Liaising with all necessary departments to ensure payments are made, products and literature are packed and delivered on time, as well as returned after events.
  • Communicating event details with attendees and the wider organisation
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers.
  • Managing promotional and merchandise stock.
  • Researching events when required.
  • Coordinating stock for and the use of an on-site training hub.

Skills and Capabilities Required of The Part Time UK Events Coordinator:

  • The Part Time UK Events Coordinator will have 3 years+ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisation skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport in a short time: you are a great communicator and listener, which will enable you to understand the purpose and desired outcomes of event attendance.
  • Stakeholder-first approach: your stakeholder, whether customers or management, want something out of an event and it is your job to make it happen.
  • Problem-solving: resourceful, nimble, adaptive, creative.
  • Ability to travel – to attend events across the UK
