Aspire Cambridge are recruiting an Embedded Python Engineer on behalf of our client in Buckinghamshire.

Start: Immediate
Location: Remote but 1 day in office per month
Hours: Mon to Fri, Full Time
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000

The Embedded Python Engineer will be responsible for taking application requests from our global customer base and turning them into reality.

The VBOX Touch is unique in the world of automotive testing and motorsport as it contains high accuracy, RTK capable GPS alongside serial and CAN interfaces allowing it to communicate directly with the vehicle and with products.  The full colour touch screen display provides an unprecedented level of customer interaction and feedback and provides endless opportunities for customisation using Python.

The Embedded Phyton Engineer will:

  • Have good Python skills
  • At least two years commercial experience
  • An interest in electronics, as some of this role will be interfacing with the VBOX Touch hardware directly
  • A good working knowledge of C
  • Experience working with embedded systems or CAN
