Demand Planning Supervisor
DEMAND PLANNING SUPERVISOR
Start: ASAP
Location: East London office but Hybrid working
Hours:9am – 5.30pm
Salary: £35 – 40k
Benefits: 10% bonus, Active member of armed forces covenant, supporting veterans and reservists., 4% employer pension contribution.
28 days holiday, pro-rata, including statutory holidays and 1 additional day for each year served to a maximum of 5 years.

As a Demand Planning Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of planning demand and replenishing of regular stock to maintain optimal stock levels across multiple warehouses. This involves collaborating with our clients’ manufacturers and distributors in the UK, Europe and the Far East as well as internal various stakeholders.
You will be responsible for a team of 3 stock co-ordinators, their development, the availability of their product categories, as well as all key performance indicator targets (stock turn, intake to sales ratio, order book maintenance, returns). You will also be responsible for over £8m of yearly purchasing and growing.
Skills & Experience
o Strong track record in an FMCG or commercial supply chain environment with inventory management experience.
o Effective management and leadership skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, with experience of training or educating others.
o Ability to lead a team to work productively with the broader organisation to meet targets & objectives to achieve overarching business goals.
o Degree level qualification
o Good Microsoft Excel skills including tables, pivot tables, lookups.
o Self-motivation, self-discipline, personal organisation, and the determination to complete tasks on time and to the required standard at pace. Ability to maintain productivity & focus under pressure.
o Confidence to work effectively at all levels with multiple stakeholders throughout the supply chain, from directors to warehouse staff, both internally and externally
