Job Description

aspire cambridge are seeking a Business Analyst to join a growing team of SharePoint and Office365 consultants working with customers to help them get the most out of their cloud technology.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm to develop into the role based on their experience using the technology (Office 365/SharePoint). The ideal candidate will be interested in the use of cloud technology to assist with business processes and identifying appropriate use cases for each within the scope of the customer’s requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with a range of stakeholders, internal and customer based across multiple projects and customers
  • Modelling customer business processes and organisation structures to help understand the business needs
  • Gathering detailed functional and non-functional requirements through workshops with customer stakeholders including prioritisation and validation of both high-level business requirements and specific user requirements.
  • Ownership of the customer requirement throughout the project. You will be responsible for ensuring the customer requirement is met by the solution.
  • Development of test scripts and management of customer User Acceptance Testing and feedback collation and change management where appropriate
  • May occasionally oversee the running of a customer project including reporting progress, risks and issues
  • Where appropriate, the Business Analyst will act as the point of contact for the customer
  • Ensure project documentation is completed to the appropriate standards to ensure accountability for and suitability of the future solution design.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of the uses of cloud technology within a business
  • Previous use of SharePoint and Office365 productivity suite
  • Super User level of experience with SharePoint advantageous
  • Experience of developing user stories and MoSCoW requirements advantageous
  • Strong documentation and verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Demonstrable experience mapping and diagramming complex business processes
  • Interest in new technologyContinual learner
  • Analytical skills and a desire to understand the problem
