Here at Aspire Cambridge, we are all about giving back. Whether it is with the latest tech, health cover or flexible working, we know that is it our responsibility to ensure that our staff have everything they need to make sure their life both in and out of the office is as fulfilling as it can be; happy staff = a happy workplace!

Placing People First is a term you will have seen multiple times on our website/social media sites, and as much as this is about our clients and candidates, we also have to look inwards, and make sure we are placing the health and wellbeing of our staff first. With this in mind, we have begun to roll out a brand new private healthcare plan. This includes round the clock access to a GP, advanced cancer cover, mental health support, private dental, 50% off a David Lloyd membership to name but a few; the full list of health benefits can be viewed here. An Apple Watch will be provided to each member of staff upon completion of probation, also as part of this package (we think this is the part they are most excited about!) We even have cover for all children of Aspire staff.

As a reward for making healthier choices (tracked by the Apple Watch), Active Rewards are to include Cineworld vouchers, free drinks at Starbucks, Amazon Prime membership, 40% off of flights with British Airways and 25% off of accommodation through Mr & Mrs Smith, as well as all staff being rewarded with a 2 night, weekend break for two at Champney’s in Henlow, following the successful completion of probation. 

We know that getting a work/life balance can be difficult, and in some cases can be detrimental to an individual’s mental health, however we’re promoting a “desk free” future with an AI intelligent automated ATS system that is both text and voice instructed through the use of Google Home devices (supplied by us!). Staff will also receive unlimited access to the Mindfulness app, to help relax and unwind at the end of the workday. 

For the last few months we have been issuing the most up-to-date technology, with each staff member receiving a new MacBook/iMac and a brand new iPhone 11. It is not just the hardware we have been working hard to upgrade, we have recently implemented a brand new ATS system (mentioned above), to make sure that our staff can not only schedule an interview or submit a CV at the touch of a button, but can source candidates down to the most rare or specific skill required. We can browse new applications from our mobiles, swiping left and swiping right – no this is not a dating site! This, in turn, allows our clients to have the peace of mind that we are presenting them with the best of the best when it comes to filling roles – it’s a win-win for everyone!
