Regular risk assessments will also need to be carried out as part of your health and safety responsibilities and you will need to establish emergency procedures for if an emergency does take place. For example, all your employees must know what to do in the event of a fire.
A serious injury or even death could see the HSE closing your business, issuing hefty fines or sometimes even imprisonments.
