We know you as a busy Recruitment Consultant but what do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time I enjoy eating and drinking, days/evenings out, watching crime documentaries and spending time with my dogs!

What’s keeps you positive?

My family and friends, my work colleagues who make me laugh every day, food & Pink Gin.

What motivates you?

Stuart Logan (at work when he buys me food) but mostly myself, I have always known where I want to be in life, so working as hard as possible to get there myself motivates me. (Also Kelly, her drive and motivation and the way she manages EVERYTHING! She truly is a superwoman!)

What was your first job?

Nanny

Have you had your 15 minutes of fame yet?

When I was 2 I was on this morning for a baby comp ( I came second  ) I also was in the Halifax advert when I was 5 years old!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?

Never give up and always aim as high as possible!

Do you have a favourite quote or meme?

“The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams”

What are you reading or watching right now?

The sinner on Netflix.

How did you get into Recruitment?

I approached Kelly saying I needed a change of direction and knew I wanted an office based environment and started of as the branch administrator and soon realised I wanted more than that then became the Temporary Recruitment Consultant.

Tell us a bit about your role as a Recruitment Consultant and who will particularly benefit from it?

As Temporary Recruitment Consultant no day is ever the same which I love as it keeps it exciting and new! I get to speak and interact with not only lots of candidates who are looking for urgent assignments but also clients who need help in there business. The Candidates benefit massively from this if they need a quick stop gap job to earn some extra money whilst waiting for a permanent job or if they are finding there feet in which career they wish to take. It also hugely benefits the client for a few reasons, one of which needing a candidate to fill a position of someone who may be off sick or on annual leave or they could take on a temp on a temp to perm basis so that they can make sure they are making the right decision before hiring someone.

Because we get to know our candidates before sending them out to a job! We all care and take the time with our clients and candidates which I think makes us different!

How do you prefer your audience to contact you, telephone, email, social media and why this method?

I prefer a phone call as I feel like you can get all of the information you need and can get a better understanding from someone over the phone. I also for the temporary side of things, like social media as so many people use things such as facebook it’s a great platform for me to work on.
