aspire cambridge believe in, support, encourage ongoing development and training of our employees towards their career in recruitment offering consultants the opportunities to improve their expertise in recruitment through training benefits. Eleanor Gillett and Lydia Gonzalez attended the REC Successful Account Management training course on the 18th July in London. This course provides key learning and development material to ‘identify key accounts, the different approaches, build a range of key accounts, qualify key decision makers, carry out effective research, develop a greater understanding of the needs and issues of the client and identify the actions to develop existing and potential key accounts.’

The benefits and training offers the team the opportunity to develop a better understanding of the client and candidate experience. Lydia and Eleanor both had the opportunity to develop their sales skills and account saturation techniques from their key accounts allowing for a further development of aspire cambridge’s service potential. This training has accredited both Ellie and Lydia with IRP status. Maintaining and developing key accounts is an essential skill in recruitment and the chance to explore this has been a great opportunity for the consultants and the company. Throughout the training they where given the opportunity to develop skills in understanding client needs, an element to the recruitment process which aspire cambridge specifically emphasises is the positive client experience.

Ellie speaking of her experience says:

“It felt really great to learn about how to maintain and develop our Key accounts and the course has given me inspiration to develop as a Recruitment Consultant.  Our trainer, Sarah was very supportive and provided us with specific advice and a fresh perspective on a few accounts, which will no doubt improve my approach to recruiting for these key account holders. I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity – Lets do this!”

Lydia speaking on her experience says:

‘It was great to learn more about valuing client relationships – a very helpful course I can apply to my work moving forward’
