aspire cambridge Announces Multiple Promotions

Here at aspire cambridge rewarding our staff is high on our list of priorities. We care about our employees; we ensure that we notice the effort and hard work they put in to making aspire cambridge a success and that they are recognised and acknowledged for this.

On 1st April 2017 we recognised four of our employees for their outstanding levels of work and we’d like to tell you more about them and why they really deserved our recognition and promotion with continued career development opportunities.

Laura Leonard MIRP CertRPLaura Leonard Promotion

Laura was a senior recruitment consultant in our commercial recruitment division, she is a member of the IRP and holds REC’s Certificate in Recruitment too; Laura is a confident recruitment consultant that is keen to learn all she can to offer our candidates and clients the best possible service. She has recently undertaken the REC Balancing Act Course and plans to undertake continuous, development and mentoring in the upcoming year ahead.

Prior to promotion Laura managed dual desks and was responsible for permanent recruitment solutions across our sales and marketing and legal and hr sectors. Due to the her impressive track record, excellent work, industry relevant qualifications and attention to detail Laura has been promoted to Principal Consultant; she will oversee all operational aspects of our commercial recruitment division from office support, finance and accountancy, legal and hr, sales and marketing and hospitality. Laura holds direct line management responsibility for the recruitment consultants in these sectors.

When Laura was awarded her promotion and new opportunity she said;

‘Thank you for this opportunity to progress my career, I am over the moon and am looking forward to the coming year!’’

Kayley Chalk MIRP CertRPKayley Chalk Promotion

Kayley was a senior recruitment consultant in our technical recruitment division, she is a member of the IRP and holds REC’s Certificate in Recruitment. Kayley also undertook the REC Balancing Act Course recently and will also be undertaking continuous learning, development and mentoring in the year ahead. Kayley is also completing a Black Belt in Internet Recruitment Certification which will enable her to write better job adverts, find candidates no-one else can find, brand herself and team online, build a sustainable network and better engage with talent across multiple platforms.

Prior to promotion Kayley managed our engineering and manufacturing desk and following promotion to Principal Recruitment Consultant, she’ll now oversee all operational aspects of our technical recruitment division from information technology to engineering and manufacturing and has direct line management responsibility for the recruitment consultants in these sectors.

When Kayley was awarded her promotion with aspire cambridge she said;

“It’s with great pleasure that I have been promoted to Principal Consultant and now have the full responsibility over a team I am greatly invested in. The technical market is thriving and it’s fantastic to be adding value to technical recruitment in Cambridge and now within aspire cambridge itself, as a leader driving the team forward. Recognition is greatly received for my success at aspire cambridge and it’s fantastic to have progressed to the next stage in my career.”


Samantha BeasleySamantha Beasley Promotion

Samantha is an incredible asset to the aspire cambridge team, she has maintained 98% compliance of company records and procedures for the last 5 years whilst developing from a Recruitment Administrator to qualifying as an accredited Recruitment Consultant before steering her career toward finance. She understands the challenges and pressures that our recruitment consultants face and the ever evolving legislation that surrounds our industry. Prior to promotion Samantha was our Accounts Assistant; promotion to Finance and Administration Manager will see her responsible for the operation and execution of all supporting functions for our branch whilst ensuring that the cogs of aspire cambridge keep turning and running smoothly for our clients, candidates and of course, recruitment consultants.

On announcement of her promotion with aspire cambridge Samantha said;

“I can truly say I have never before worked within an organisation that has such a genuine passion for seeing people progress and develop and gain new skills! Each person has such a key role within this business and everyone is treated equally and their development needs are listened too every day. I am over the moon with my new role of Finance and Administration Manager especially after completing my AAT Level 3 in 2015. You are truly rewarded for your hard work and dedication and it’s a great feeling!”


Jenna Gorham MCIPDJenna Gorham Promotion

Jenna is an incredible multi-tasker with a brilliant skill set; she holds a dual role here at aspire cambridge both as a HR Director for our business, but also as a HR Consultant and Director for external HR businesses and affairs. Jenna is responsible for the strategic direction of people within the business and since joining the business in 2016 has made a dramatic impact with the realignment of our people strategy and future development for our ambitious plans for growth. Jenna ensures that we are legal, compliant and remain consistent in our approach to all matters employment and legislation whilst striving for excellence in people management and development.

Upon recognition for promotion this is what Jenna had to say for her new role within the company;
