Why I chose IT, Technical and Engineering recruitment…

I decided to get into recruitment because I knew I loved meeting and talking to people, alongside familiarising myself with their unique requirements. In particular, there were three main areas that I was passionate about; these include IT, Technical and Engineering recruitment. Such sectors are particularly large and dominant in this region of the country and are sure to continue to grow in the future.

Cambridge has positioned itself ‘centre stage’ for technology and has one of Europe’s most successful and best known clusters for technology and bioscience of its kind. Impressively there are now 14 billion-dollar companies in Cambridge, including chip designer ARM, software firm Autonomy and technology group Aveva.
