As Business Operations Manager, I lead the Aspire team and I am incredibly proud of the superb people I work with and the success and growth we have achieved. Recruitment is extremely fast paced and I love operating at 100 miles an hour, never stopping until we meet our clients’ and candidates’ needs.
I joined Aspire Cambridge in February 2014 as Head of Recruitment and was promoted to Business Operations Manager to lead the business when our owner Kelly Haston began her maternity leave earlier this year.
The business has grown rapidly over the last year, as has the team which has doubled from six to twelve people. This success has undoubtedly come as a result of a great deal of hard work and most importantly our shared passion for delivering outstanding customer service; our clients and candidates are the heart of the business and everything we do is focused on understanding their wants and needs and matching them perfectly.
We have four divisions at Aspire Cambridge focused on:

Why did I choose recruitment?
After nine years working for an estate agency at a managerial level, I decided I was ready for my next challenge but wanted to transfer the multitude of skills I had developed with me. I have always enjoyed sales, account management and developing new business from scratch and my work ethos is all about fantastic customer service … so I decided recruitment was the ideal industry for me. I started my career at Neaves & Neat Employment Services in Ely, Cambridgeshire which coincidently is where our Director Kelly Haston also started her career in recruitment over 10 years ago.
As a Manager myself, I fully understand the importance of having the right team of people around you, working well together with the right attitude and mix of skills. Recruiting the right people for a team is all about building relationships with our clients and understanding their wants and needs and this is where we excel.
