2015 is set to be a great year for highly talented candidates looking to change jobs; a recent survey has shown an increase in counter offers as employers fight over the very best individuals.

According to the article by the CIPD, the results showed that 65% of finance leaders surveyed had seen counter offers rise in the last year. This suggests that candidates with the right mix of skills are becoming more and more difficult to find and consequently the very best candidates are choosing between two or more job offers.

This news comes on the back of the latest ONS figures which indicate an increase in full-time employment figures. With jobs on the up and the right skills mix on the decline, the challenge for employers is to attract the right people and move fast.  Offering bonuses and flexibility were also seen as key factors.
