Temporary employees with aspire cambridge are entitled to paid annual leave, as guided by the working time regulations. An employee is entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday in a period of 52 weeks worked. You will accrue holiday pay hours based on a rate of 12.07%. This means that if you work an average week of 37.5 hours, you will accrue 4.5 hours.
If you would like to book paid annual leave, please discuss this with your temporaries recruitment consultant. When the time off is agreed, download and fill in a holiday request form and send it back to us.
If you meet the set criteria, you may well be entitled to statutory sick pay. You will need to provide your recruitment consultant with proof that you are unable to work, this could be in the form of self-certification for seven days, after the seven days you would need to supply a doctor’s certificate. The statutory sick pay scheme allows only one day per week to qualify, for the period of an assignment. The day specified is the Wednesday of every week.
