The event is the annual East of England Institute of Directors (IOD) dinner, which is being held this year at Trinity College in Cambridge. The event is a mix between business and leisure, with a champagne reception, 4 course meal and light entertainment.
Each year at the event, there is a raffle and auction held to raise money for charity. This year’s event is supporting CamSight and Breaking Boundaries. Aspire Cambridge is contributing to the event by donating a unique prize for the raffle.
The prize Aspire Cambridge will be providing is a for flight experience for 2 people with the pilot of a Cessna 172 plane over the Cambridgeshire area. A special leisure experience that will give the winner a brilliant opportunity to see Cambridge and Cambridgeshire from the sky.
“We are pleased to say that the response to our charity auction has been amazing, and we have some great gifts donated by Cambridgeshire businesses to help raise funds for CamSight and Breaking Boundaries, both of which help children and young people with sight loss.”
Those that are interested in attending the event should contact Yvette Chivers on 01223 926968.
Following on from our recent support of a fundraiser for Addenbrookes Charitable Trust, we continue to look at ways we can contribute to local fundraising events and raise money for charitable causes.
